How to Delete Your After Glow Account

You can delete your After Glow account at any time. We offer two methods so you can choose what works for you.
Method 1: In-app deletion (recommended)
- Open the After Glow app on your phone.
- Tap your profile icon, then Settings.
- Tap Delete my account.
- Tap Delete to confirm in the dialog that appears.
- Your account is deactivated immediately and permanently deleted within 45 days.
Method 2: Email request
If you no longer have access to the app (e.g. lost phone, uninstalled), email us from the address registered to your account:
- Send to: support@afterglowdating.com
- Subject: Account deletion request
- Include: your username (if you remember it) and optionally a reason for deletion (not required).
You will receive a confirmation within 48 hours. Account deletion is completed within 45 days.
What gets deleted
- Your profile (photos, bio, interests).
- All messages you sent or received.
- All matches and likes.
- Your subscription is cancelled — no refund for the unused portion.
- Push notification tokens.
- Location data.
What is retained (and why)
- Minimum legal records — CCPA requires 12 months retention for opt-out tracking.
- Payment records — 7 years for tax and financial compliance (Indonesian and US law).
- Safety reports — if your account was the subject of serious safety violations, those reports may be retained to protect other users.
What is anonymized
- Aggregate analytics (you appear only as a number, not identifiable).
- System logs (your user ID is replaced with a random token).
Important
Once deleted, your account cannot be recovered. You can create a new account in the future, but you will lose access to all prior matches, messages, and history.
