After Glow Privacy Policy

This policy describes what we collect, why, and how you can control it. We collect the minimum data needed to make After Glow work and never sell it.
1. What we collect
- Account info: username, email, hashed password, gender, birth date, optional Instagram and Snapchat handles.
- Profile content: photos, bio, interests.
- Location: approximate coordinates so we can show you nearby people. Only collected after you grant permission. We never display your precise location to other users.
- Usage: matches, messages, gifts sent, in-app purchases. Used to operate features and improve the service.
- Device: model, OS version, install ID, push token (when notifications are enabled).
2. How we use it
To match you with potential connections, deliver chats, process purchases through Google Play, send notifications, and protect against fraud or abuse.
3. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Limited data is shared with:
- Google Play for billing and subscription management.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications.
- Hosting and analytics providers under standard data-processing terms.
- Authorities when legally required.
4. Your rights
You can request a full export of your data or a permanent deletion from Settings → Privacy inside the app. We honor CCPA, GDPR, UU PDP (Indonesia), and similar requests within 45 days. See our Account Deletion page for step-by-step instructions.
5. Security
Passwords are hashed (not stored in plain text). Tokens use short-lived JWTs with rotating refresh. Connections are encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+).
6. Children
After Glow is restricted to users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18. If you believe we have, contact us so we can remove the account.
7. Retention
We keep account data while your account is active. Deleted accounts are removed within 45 days, except where law requires longer retention (e.g. financial records for tax compliance).
