We're here to help you make the most of After Glow. Most answers are below — for anything else, reach out.
Getting started
- How do I sign up? Download the app from Google Play, tap Sign up, and follow the steps. Photo verification is required before you can start matching.
- Why is photo verification required? It keeps the community real. Verified profiles get more attention and protect everyone from fake accounts.
- Can I change my username? Username is permanent. Display name (shown on profile) can be edited in Settings.
Matching & messaging
- How do free bubbles work? Every match gives you 20 free message starters (bubbles). Use them to start conversations. You can purchase more or subscribe for unlimited.
- How do I unmatch someone? Open their profile, tap the three-dot menu, choose Unmatch. Their messages will be deleted from your inbox.
- Why can't I see who liked me? See-who-liked-you is a Premium feature. Upgrade in Settings → Subscription.
Subscriptions & payments
- What's included in Premium? Unlimited connections, see who liked you, priority profile placement, read receipts, and unlimited bubbles.
- How do I cancel my subscription? Open Google Play → Subscriptions → After Glow → Cancel. Or in our app: Settings → Subscription → Manage.
- Can I get a refund? Refunds follow Google Play's policy. Contact support@afterglowdating.com with your purchase details and we'll help.
- Are coins refundable? Coin purchases are non-refundable except where required by law. Coins do not expire.
Privacy & safety
- How do I block someone? Open their profile, tap the three-dot menu, choose Block. They cannot see you or contact you again.
- How do I report a user? Same menu — choose Report. Our safety team reviews within 24 hours.
- How do I delete my account? Settings → Account → Delete account. Full instructions on our Account Deletion page.
- What data does the app collect? See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Troubleshooting
- The app crashes on startup. Try: restart your phone, update the app to the latest version, free up storage (need ≥500 MB free). If still crashing, email us with your phone model and Android version.
- I'm not receiving notifications. Check phone Settings → Apps → After Glow → Notifications (must be enabled). Also check that you haven't muted notifications inside the app.
- I can't log in. Reset your password via the "Forgot password?" link on the login screen. If you don't receive a reset email, check spam, then contact us.
